The news of Rita's passing was received with a very, very heavy heart and a profound deep sadness; she left such a special imprint on our lives. We've known her and Frank over 37 years, when they lived in Los Angeles and in San Diego. So many fun and good times, family events and otherwise, she was so loved by our whole family. Over the years, even with distance between us now, she greeted us with such a cheerful smile and a joyful laugh, we would always feel like she was truly happy to see us. That's when you know this special something has withstood the test of time. Rita was a strong and determined person, an unwavering friend and she loved her family; so much more can be said. Even though we'll always have our wonderful memories of her, she will be so grievously missed.
