Rita was the eldest of three children born to this union.Rita’s ambitious nature led her to pursue a career as a barber. She successfully received her barber license and soon after became the owner and operator of a barber shop known as Lemanz. Rita also obtained a real estate license and worked as a Sales Real Estate Agent.Rita had a genuine love for people. No one was ever a stranger to Rita. She had a loving and kind spirit that she shared unselfishly. She was devoted to her friends and family and had a willingness to always lend a helping hand. Rita’s charming personality, beautiful smile and compassion for others made her a friend to many people. Her spirit will live on within the hearts of everyone that knew her.Rita enjoyed life to the fullest. She had a great sense of humor and was always ready to have a good time. Rita was an excellent cook and she enjoyed dancing, listening to old school music, and shopping. Shopping was her favorite past time. She had a flair for fashion and loved to shop until you drop. Rita’s motto for shopping was “never pay the regular price”.Rita was a devoted catholic and she faithfully attended mass for worship. She truly believed in Jesus and tirelessly encouraged others to accept Jesus in their life.Rita was a loving mother and devoted wife. Family was very important to Rita and her love and devotion for her family was immeasurable.Rita was called to rest on Friday, August 1, 2014. She leaves to cherish her precious memory to her husband, Frank Manzano, children, Angela Manzano, Thomas A. Manzano, Lisa Gamez ( Joe), Frank A. Manzano II (Tanya), Thomas P. Manzano (Regina), Sean Manzano (Melissa),Brother, Steve Sanchez, Sisters Antonia Meza, Lorraine Munoz, nineteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
