  1. My husband and I ( Jane & Charles Hanley – Rachel's parents ) still remember a beautiful day we had at the San Diego Zoo with Bill and Rachel when Rachel first moved to San Diego. Bill made sure we saw and did everything at the zoo and in the best orderly fashion. He was so knowledgeable. We all had a great day together. Through the years Bill and Rachel were such good friends and then when Rachel married Matt he joined the "circle". We considered Bill family. Our hearts are breaking for him and all his family and friends. Our hope is that he has found the peace he couldn't seem to find in this existence.
