Abby-Joyce Rueckert's Obituary
Abby Joyce Rueckert of San Diego passed away Friday, May 28, 2010. Born in Brooklyn, New York, She graduated from Erasamus High School and attended college. A.J. was loved by all and volunteered her services to others throughout her rich life. She loved acting and was involved in Community Theatre and she will be missed by members of the local Shriner’s Lodge where Robert was a Greeter and an Ambassador. Abby is preceded in death by her first husband of 30 years, Martin Ross, who died in 1977. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Robert Rueckert, of San DIego, CA, her two sons, Michael Ross, of Apex, NC, Irwin Ross of Omaha, NE, her three stepchildren, Becky Bass of Umpqua, OR, Randy Rueckert of Sandia Park, NM, and Robert Rueckert of Beloit, KS. She is also survived by a nephew, Howard Rombom of New York and a cousin, Melvin Haber of Palm Springs. A.J. and her husband Robert were inseperable and gave each other much joy and love throughout their years together and she will be deeply missed by him, her family, and her friends. She will not be forgotten. Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 3rd, 2010, 1:00 PM at Clairmont Mortuary. Arrangements under the direction of Clairemont Mortuary, San Diego, CA.
