Alfonso Felix Calero's Obituary
ALFONSO FELIX CALERO, 80, of San Diego, CA, passed away on December 19, 2022.
Felix was born on November 20, 1942, to Alfonso A. Calero and Petra Almeraz in Deming, NM.
He moved with his mother and older brother to San Diego where he grew up and attended Hover High School. After high school, he enlisted in the Army, where he served for two years as a cook.
Felix married his wife, Dolores on March 4, 1967, and had four children.
He had various occupations throughout his lifetime. Lastly, working as a warehouse manager until he retired in 2010.
He loved to sing and dance and had a fondness for the oldies but goodies music and was Elvis Presley’s biggest fan.
He is survived by his wife Carmen Dolores Calero, their children, Rick (Maria) Calero, Renee (Travis) Cole, Randy (Candace) Calero, and Reina Calero and seven grandchildren, Ricky Calero, Nathanyel Calero, Trey Cole, Jordan Calero, Tayllor Cole, Armando Paz and Jayden Calero and many extended family members.
Memoriam Services will be held at Clairemont Mortuary on January 18, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 4:00pm. Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Church on January 19, 2022, at 10:00 am. Burial Services with Military Honors to follow at Miramar National Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
