Ariza Charon Delgado's Obituary
Ariza Charon Delgado, age 32, was born on June 12, 1993, in San Diego, California, where she lived her entire life surrounded by the people and places she loved most.
The youngest of two daughters, Ariza brought light, laughter, and music to her family. She was the cherished daughter of Miguel Angel Delgado and Cristina Olivia Salazar, and the beloved younger sister of Ana Laura Kaer.
Ariza graduated from San Diego Mesa College, where she discovered her calling for caring for animals. With determination and heart, she earned her degree as a Registered Veterinary Technician, proudly beginning a career that allowed her to dedicate her days to the animals she adored. Her compassion, gentleness, and patience made her a natural—and her colleagues and clients felt that deeply.
Creative at heart, Ariza was a gifted musician who found joy in playing guitar, writing music, and performing in bands. Music was her language, her refuge, and one of her greatest sources of happiness. She was especially passionate about punk and metal, genres that matched her energy, authenticity, and fearless spirit.
Ariza lived life with a sense of adventure. She treasured trips to Ireland and Greece, loved the thrill of concerts, and found peace in camping under open skies. Her favorite movies—Stepmom and The Nightmare Before Christmas—reflected both her beautifully tender heart and her whimsical, creative side.
Those who knew Ariza will remember her as loyal, giving, loving, funny, and gentle. She was the friend who showed up, the sister who cared deeply, and the daughter who brought joy into every room. She is survived by her parents, Miguel and Cristina; her older sister, Ana Laura; and her two dearest friends, Morganne and Carmen, who were like family to her.
Ariza’s life was filled with milestones she was proud of: joining a band, earning her veterinary technician degree, working with animals, and exploring the world. Her passion, kindness, and creative fire will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.
