Arlyn was easy going and accommodating. I am not sure if he was even a true "Cubs fan", but he put my dad's hat on, much to my delight! John and I will miss him and cherish the memories!

Arlyn, you will forever be in our hearts. Always a man of integrity, you brought laughter and love to any situation or group. Although there were many miles that separated us geographically, from Wisconsin to California, you always held a special place in my heart and that will never be lost. Always so proud to have you as my Uncle, a man who was warm, kind and always put others first. You will be missed dearly by many. John Walrath
My dear brother, Arlyn will be missed. We shared so many memories….like the time we were throwing water balloons at each other in the house! Boy, did we get in trouble! Arlyn always had the task of watching over me while our parents were at work. He was so caring and responsible. I will always have the memories of our past and will cherish them.
Arlyn was a very special man! A wonderful Dad and Husband. When Janet met Arlyn he lit up her life. He completed her life!! We love you Janet and pray for comfort, strength and peace for you and your family.Sandy and Stan
My Uncle Arlyn and Janet opened their home to me many years back while I was attending a maritime school for a Mates license. It led the way to many more reunions and opportunities to connect with him, Janet, Todd and Kristin. I treasure my memories of Arlyn. He was always so kind, gentle and welcoming to me. He and Janet always made sure to include me in the holidays and other events which was a such a blessing for me. Especially during difficult periods in my life. I didn't know any of my other uncles so Arlyn was THE UNCLE for me. And I feel so lucky to have been able to have known him. His pride in his wonderful son Todd and his deep love for the whole family is an inspiration to me. I smile when I think of his fantastic laugh and the way he never took himself too seriously. I loved being around him. I will miss you terribly Arlyn. Thank you so much for all of the compassion and love you've given me through the years. I love you.Adam

Todd our condolences to you and the boys. Many wonderful memories.Arlyn will always be Brother in law & Uncle to Jeff Tari & Ann.
Arlyn *loved* Todd in the way that only dads do. He was just so proud of him and enjoyed hearing the stories Todd would tell about his experiences. Now and then, Todd will share a story of his dad's sense of humor, particularly when he was growing up, and it always makes me chuckle to hear that some of Arlyn's humor has been passed down to his son.He loved his son in such a way that now Todd loves his own kids in the same special way. It was an honor to know and love him.Until we meet again, Arlyn, rest easy.
