Arthur H Guengerich's Obituary
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Arthur Henry Guengerich, passed away on September 21, 2016. Art was born and raised in Manito, Illinois along with 8 siblings. He joined the Navy in March 18, 1941. His 20 years of service included World War II and the Korean War. He also was a civil service employee at NAS North Island for 16 years. He and his first wife, Melva Jean King were the proud parents of triplets; John Guengerich, Cathy Jackson and Cindy Spillane. He and his second wife, Fran Neeley enjoyed square dancing and traveling. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and athlete. He played slow pitch softball and Over the Line until he was 90. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
