Barbara Ann Vickers' Obituary
BARBARA ANN (NEEDHAM) VICKERS
Barbara Ann was born July 31, 1948. She was educated in Illinois, Rhode Island, and California schools. She was beloved wife of Gilfred James Vickers, Jr., USN Ret, San Diego, CA, for more than fifty years. Barbara Ann passed peacefully in her home, after fighting her best fight to wellness, for nearly five years, on November 20, 2022. She taught us all what courage, patience, and compassion truly is. She is now with our eternal Father and no longer in pain. Her love for her family was unconditional. She is also survived by her mother Betty Needham, Santee, CA; our children: Belinda Anne (Vickers) and Kevin Tattoli, their children, Kaylea and Lindsay Tattoli, San Diego, CA; James Richard and Heather (Auguston) Vickers, Frederick, MD, their children, Hannah (Vickers) and Eric Cutchall , and Connor Vickers, Park City, UT; and Nana's littlest angel, her great granddaughter, Maybelle Claire Cutchall. Forever missed by her sister and brother in law Ronald and Patricia (Vickers) Petrie and their family, Middletown, RI; several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her father Richard Gail Needham, brothers Thomas, Gary, and Michael Needham, and her father and mother in law, Gilfred James and June (Pynes) Vickers, Sr., Brownvlle Junction, ME. They loved Barbara as their daughter. She dedicated her life to our family, our children and grandchildren were her shining stars. She was so proud of all their accomplishments. Some of her happiest times were our trips to Disneyland and our 50th anniversary cruise to Hawaii. Barb, you are loved beyond words and will be forever missed by all our family and friends.
