Beatrice Bartola Leigh-Pink's Obituary
Loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother Beatrice Leigh-Pink (Godoy), 76,
passed away on November 27th in the comfort of her home surrounded by her husband,
children, grandchildren, and sister.
She was born August 24th, 1948, in Stockton, California where she was raised by parents
Beatrice and Alerico Godoy alongside her sister Lillian Armbrust. She resided there until
meeting and marrying her soulmate, Robin. Robin and Bea shared 54 years together; during
which, Bea was a vibrant mother who cherished every minute with her three boys and adopted
daughter whom she loved with all her heart. She was hardworking throughout her life and was a
dedicated and passionate foster mother to many children over the 30 years of her career. Bea
was competitive at all family game nights and had the shows; Blue Bloods and Monk on replay
daily. She will be remembered for her love of her family, the Atlanta Braves, Mickey Mouse, and
Christmas while being a beacon of light for everyone who had the opportunity to know her. Her
outgoing bubbly personality brought joy to any situation, and she loved to make her presence
known whether singing her heart out loud and proud or cheering on her children and
grandchildren during sporting events. There was never a moment she wasn’t smiling and her
year-round renditions of “Jingle Bells” will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Bea is survived by her sister Lillian Armbrust (husband Greg), husband Robin Leigh-Pink; sons,
Aaron (wife Krissenda) and Eric; and daughter, Brianna Leigh-Pink. Grandchildren Alexander,
Kristian, Winter, Christian, and Abraham. And great-grandchildren Elaina, Margot, and Maya.
Her son William Harry Leigh-Pink will be greeting her in heaven with open arms alongside her
parents. She will be laid to rest at Miramar National Cemetery and services are to be
announced.
