I had the privilege of serving as Brandon’s Chief at REDCOM San Diego. He was my Leading Petty Officer, but more than that, he was someone I trusted wholeheartedly and could always count on.
Brandon had a remarkable ability to make people feel seen. He always went out of his way to support younger Sailors who were struggling, making sure they had someone to talk to and reminding them they weren’t alone. At the same time, he kept our medical department laughing every single day. This photo captures just a small glimpse of the goofy personality that brought so many smiles to our team.
Brandon was an exceptional Corpsman, an incredible person, and above all, a devoted father to his two boys. My heart breaks that he didn’t get the time with them that he deserved, but I have no doubt he’s still watching over them.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family, his friends, and everyone whose life was made better by knowing him. He will be deeply missed.
