Cira Jorge Beaumont's Obituary
Cira Jorge Beaumont, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home in San Diego, California, on May 29, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born in Tauá, Ceará, Brazil, Cira moved to San Diego nearly six decades ago and built a joyful, meaningful life rooted in family, faith, and community.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ken Beaumont, and their four children: Jorge, Kenny Jr., Angela, and Leslie. She was a devoted grandmother to Caua, Gianna, Nico, Victor, Nicole, Eric, and Ryan. Raised in a large, close-knit family by her parents Aretuza and Jorge, Cira is also survived by her siblings Marlene, Vanda, Lidice, Joana Rosa, Neném, and João Jorge. She was preceded in death by siblings Tata, Leda, Célia, Selma, and Henrique Jorge.
Cira was a dedicated homemaker who poured love into raising her family. At 50, she began a second career with PepsiCo as a Sales and Marketing Representative, where she earned awards for her excellence and work ethic.
She was a faithful volunteer at Ascension Catholic Church and a proud member of the Junior Woman’s Club. Known for her elegance, warmth, and vibrant spirit, Cira was the heart of every gathering. Her San Diego home welcomed countless relatives visiting from Brazil, many of whom she helped start new lives.
Cira believed family was the foundation of a good life—and she lived that truth every day.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 18 at 11:00 AM at Ascension Catholic Church, followed by a reception from 12–2 PM in the church hall. All are welcome to attend and honor her remarkable life.
