Deborah Ann Perry's Obituary
Deborah A. Perry, a dedicated postal worker and life long resident of San Diego lost the battle to lung cancer at the age of 65 while being cared for by her family.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hennings, Granddaughter Myah Perry, and many dear friends.
Debbie was born May 26 1953 to Dean Perry and Mary Cooley in Los Angeles, CA. Relocated to San Diego and soon gave birth to her baby girl Jennifer Perry, January of 1978. She began her career at the United States Postal Service in 1985 as a mail carrier and continued working up until her diagnosis in 2018.
Debbie was devoted to her job and loved everyone she worked with and delivered to. She also made sure all the blackbirds and rabbits in her neighborhood were fed and happy. She loved her family dearly and her two dogs Zeus and Dahlia who sadly passed years before.
Her dear friend and coworker says, “Debbie touched the lives of many people, she demonstrated how one could perform random acts of kindness. She would strike up a conversation with anyone just to share a friendly thought ”
She leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship and humor.
A celebration of life will be held on 3/17/19. At 1pm 6460 Convoy Ct. front community room at main entrance. Parking is on your immediate right as you enter park.
