Debra Pilkinton, passed away on May 14, 2013 in San Diego California.Debra (Debbie) Gene Pilkinton left us on Tuesday May 14, 2013. Her strong will to live, her unwavering faith, and the love and prayers of family, friends and many supporters carried her throughout the years.Debbie was born on December 16, 1950. She was last employed as a Safety Officer by the Navy Drug Screening Laboratory in San Diego California.Even with total strangers, she was known for her ease of frequent conversation. She possessed a contagious smile and entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the hearts of many, who even now are being changed by witnessing her nurturing love and friendship. Her signature gift of joy shown through her constant smiling and laughter will never be forgotten. Debbie was survived by her best friend and love of her life, Mary Ann McBride, her mother and father, Gloria and Daniel Dorsch, her daughter Shauntel Pilkinton, her son William Darnell Hart (Omarya), her brothers, Steve Heaivilin (Gloria) and David Dorsch (Ana), her sister, Julie Massie (Alan), and father, Gene Pilkinton. Debbie was preceded in death by her beloved brother Daniel Joseph Dorsch and his Wife Cindy Dorsch.Debbie was Grandmother to eight loved children, Unique, Nena, Teah, Troy, Kenneth, Isiah, Marcus, and Ashley.
