Just this evening I was sorting out photos to send to my son who dearly adored Dennis. A good man, a good memory. I'm sadden and will keep his family in prayer. I'm sorry I had to learn while researching online, but so glad to know he was happy in his later years. God's Speed and Rest In Peace.

Papa Denny was such a kind and loving man. He came into my mom's life and our family was forever changed. Hi love for his family was his greatest gift and he will be missed by all of us. But he is free now to sore like the Egales he so loved. We love you Papa Denny and you will always be in our hearts and thoughts. Your loving Daughter Cindy
I am truly sadden by the passing of Dennis. We worked together for many years in the Planned Maintenance Department at NAVSEACENPAC. He was a really good guy and I enjoyed working along side him. Love to his family and friends. His life will be celebrated and remembered fondly.
I am very sorry to hear of Dennis' passing. He and I were very close shipmates while serving in VP-48 in 1958-1960. Dennis was best man at my wedding in 1959. He was good, Christian man, and a very happy fellow. I am sure he is at peace in heaven.Rudy (Terry) Shappee
