Dolores Virginia Estrada's Obituary
Dolores “Dee” Virginia Estrada, 73, reunited with her parents on April 5, 2022. After a short battle with end-stage liver disease, she passed away peacefully in her sleep, with both her children by her side.
Dee was born on June 26, 1948, in Los Angeles, California. She was the first of six children of Albert and Virginia Estrada. Dee loved growing up with her brothers and sisters. Remaining family-focused throughout her life, Dee was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Later in life, she was happiest when spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored.
Dee was a life-long learner, earning her masters degree in counseling and starting a new career in her early sixties. Being a talented crafter, she was incredibly skilled at sewing, quilting, and crochet. Dee spent many joyous afternoons, evenings, and weekends with family and friends playing BINGO, where she had a knack for winning and the loudest “BINGO” yell. She was a passionate baseball fan, and her devotion to the Dodgers was only surpassed by her faithful devotion to God as a lifelong Catholic.
Dee is survived by her husband John Dwyer, daughter Crystalin Morris, son John Schulte, two grandchildren, and five siblings.
