Dorothy Elizabeth Stokes' Obituary
Dorothy Elizabeth Stokes, 91 took her seat beside GOD in the early morning on September 29th, 2023 in her home. Born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to California in 1962, she spent the rest of her years in beautiful San Diego. Dorothy was the youngest of 9 siblings.
Dorothy established work at NCR (National Cash Register) doing quality control for 12 years and then moved on to IVAC Medical Systems where she found herself doing quality control as well for 10 years. All the while being a part of Our Mother of Confidence Church. She served over 35 years in the Choir and sung with an absolutely amazing voice and so much passion for the church.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved 5 sons; Mike, Tom, Bob, Joe, Jim and daughter-in-law Vicki Stokes (Wife of Tom); 4 Grandchildren; Richardo and Danielle, Nicholas, Jeffrey, and Kari; 6 Great Grandchildren; Makayla, Gavin, Kylie, Danika, Jace, and Jordan.
Dorothy will be laid to rest with her mother at Holy Cross Cemetery.
