Elaine Mary VanderLinden's Obituary
Elaine Regan of San Diego, CA formerly of Warminster, PA passed away peacefully on October 31, 2012. She was the daughter of John and Ida Regan, sister of Marianne, Nancy Kochersperger (Ron), Carol Baker (Bobby), and Janet Le Digabel ( Denis); and Aunt to one nephew and four nieces.Elaine graduated from William Tennent High School in 1976 and attended York College of PA. Elaine loved H.A.M. radio and was a licensed technician. She was musically gifted and played the clarinet, acoustic and electric guitar and was a big fan of the Beatles. Those who knew Elaine recognized her brilliant mind and enjoyed conversations with her involving topics such as, politics, government, history, economics and religion. Elaine had an amazing ability to recall historical facts and data and her ability to expound on many subjects allowed her to form a variety of friendships. Her friends will miss her.Elaine overcame many obstacles in her life despite her visual impairment and courageously persevered through all her adversities. It is with great sadness that Elaine departed this life so quickly, leaving behind her family, especially her best friend and sister Marianne, who were inseparable. Her family takes comfort knowing she is at peace with the Lord and all her loving relatives who have gone on before her, welcoming her with open arms. A memorial service will be held in Bucks County, PA sometime in the Spring.Don’t think of her as gone away, her journey’s just begun.Life holds so many facets, this Earth is only one.Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears, In a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.Think how she must be wishing that we could know today,How nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched. For nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much.(Author: E. Brenneman)”Good Night Sweet Elaine and flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest
