Gene Freddie Marmet's Obituary
Born 16th July 1934-
Gene made an unexpected early arrival on his parents, (Amanda and Norman) milk cart, while they were delivering milk in Falls City, Nebraska. He was the middle of three boys, all now deceased. Gene joined the Air Force and the reserves until being discharged with honor. After living in Washington State with family, he moved to Santa Monica, California, beginning a life as a dance instructor at the Arthur Murray Studios. This was where he met his first wife, Jean and they had daughter, Celeste. Gene spent 45+ years in insurance, was a Broker in real estate and securities. While living in Texas in 1983, Gene met Jennifer Evans and they moved to La Jolla, California and married and celebrate 26 years together in January. Gene read anything related to business, he use to play tennis all day if he could find a tennis partner. He was a big lover of cats. Gene believed he had a wonderful life even though he dealt with years of difficult medical issues, and did so with much humor. His family, Jenny, Celeste, David, Ryan, Curtis, Dylan and Jean shall miss him, along with his cousins, especially Gail. Also his cat family, Little Red and Freddie.
