Gary Edward Urch

Gary was one of my first Mentors at North Island. He was there along with Bill Singleton as Red Hats getting me started, Showing me the basics in getting started and later as Black Hat, instructing me in handling people and aircraft programs. He recognized my talents and pushed me in the right directions. Because of men like him, Dick Lloyd and Huston Lee, I went much further up the line than anyone ever expected. When I hired on in 1973, I thought GS-9 was God. Gary and a few others showed me the way to 13, just by getting the job done right.

Gary, I appreciate the care and effort you put into making our jobs a lot easier. You were a great friend and boss. I enjoyed seeing you at our yearly luncheons and will miss you whenever we get together.

Priscilla, thankyou for taking care of Gary this past few years, I know is is not easy and you did a great job for someone you love, may he rest in Peace in Heaven Above. My prayers go with you both..
