Geraldine H Riggs' Obituary
Geraldine (Gerrie) Hollander Riggs passed on to be with our lord Thursday, August 9, 2012. Gerrie was born October 10, 1917 in New York City. During WWII she came to San Diego and worked at Consolidated Aircraft as a secretary. On a blind date, she met Marine Parachute Instructor Glenn, Whom she fell in love with, married, and later celebrated 68 years of marriage with. They had two children: a son, Dennis and a daughter, Geri. Moving east, they lived in New Jersey for 17 years, but found there way back to San Diego whereThey have resided for almost 50 years. Gerrie was preceded in death by her son and is survived by her husband, daughter, granddaughter, four grandsons and a great-grandson. She was a quiet disciple of the lord and will be missed. Services for Geraldine will be held at Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego Ca.
