Gregory Lawrence Remsen's Obituary
Gregory was 56 years old when he passed away on September 19, 2021. Greg was born in Fullerton, California on February 16, 1965, the son of Lawrence Remsen and Linda Mitchell. Greg lived in Olinda Village until he was 7 years old. He then moved to his grandfather’s estate in South Laguna. This is where Greg developed his love for the ocean and learned to skin dive and body surf. Greg was confirmed at Our Lady Queen of Angels in Corona Del Mar. Gregory had a great love for his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ who helped Greg through many difficult times in his life. Greg was involved with capital markets and raised funds for a variety of companies. Greg founded Remken Financial Corporation. He also founded the “For Life Tour” and had planned to hold a huge concert to help fight drug abuse. Greg has traveled the world trying to help others and bring companies together. Greg spoke before Congress trying to pass a bill to fight the world's horrific opioid epidemic. Greg spent many hours talking to and trying to save others from drug abuse. About a year ago Greg was hired at Delrada Financial. He was working on projects that included helping injured Veterans. Greg was giving, loving, kind, always forgiving. He was filled with life and love for everyone. Greg was blessed to have met Dr. Muphy just six months ago and who brought Greg back to his Catholic faith. Greg will be truly missed. Greg is survived by his mother Linda Mitchell, his step father John Mitchell, his biological father Lawrence Remsen and his sister, Alicia Richards and her four children, Jonathan, Steven, Michael and Kelly
