Ilustre Sabale Portacio's Obituary
Port (also known as Tre, Osteng) to friends and family and the 49'ers of Cavite High School. He was born in Cavite City, Philippines. He worked for the U.S. Naval Base at Sangley PI, Cavite and went to Olongapo City with the U.S. Forestry Subic Naval Base and completed 34 years of service. He also was an active member of the labor unions there. He and his wife migrated to San Diego and became a security guard for more than 15 yrs and after retirement he joined the RSVP (Retired Volunteer Police). He is survived by Angelita his wife of 64 yrs, daughter Marilou, Sons Ilustre Jr. (Jong), Roberto (Bob) and Wilfredo C. Willy; grandchildren, Dr. Dexter Portacio, Dr. Jennifer Pasco, John Michael, Keith Jane, Marcus and 7 great grandchildren Aimee, Jaecel, Marcus, Gil, Marialuisa, Dyland and LA, his sisters and brothers and many nieces/nephews.
