Iva Marie Zuniga's Obituary
Iva Marie Zuniga, born in San Diego, California on November 25, 1959. She passed away on August 23, 2017 in San Diego. She is the daughter of Clifford and Norma Marler. Iva graduated from Grossmont, GED and received a Bachelor Degree from Phoenix University. She was married to Carlos Zuniga (widowed) and Tom Fleming (divorced). Iva had a career in customer service for Red Lobster, IHOP, Old Town Mexican Cafe, and Old Town State Parks. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Iva had a passion for outdoor adventures, sky diving, para- sailing, enjoyed the beach and walk-a-thons. She is survived by her son, Carlos Albert Zuniga, grandchildren, Sarah, Carlitos, Genesis. Brothers and sisters, Rose Rico, Larry Marler, Doyle Marler, Cliff Marler and Linda Marler. Visitation is on Friday, September 1st from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Clairemont Mortuary Chapel, rosary recited at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass is Saturday, September 2nd at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Old Town.
