Ivyrose Quitugua Kane's Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of Ivyrose Quitugua Kane, 61, of San Diego. She passed away on December 16, 2022 from complications caused by a stroke.
Ivyrose was born on October 8, 1961 to Pete and Anita Quitugua (Flores) in Tamuning, Guam.
Ivyrose will be remembered for her unique style, creativity, light-hearted sportsmanship and fearless love for life. She found great joy in being "Aunt I" leading her nieces and nephews through new experiences and great adventures.
Ivyrose, predeceased by her sister, Laurie Leah Quitugua (Koger) and survived by her husband, John Charles Kane; parents, Pete Anthony Quitugua and Anita (Charfauros) Cruz Flores; sisters and brothers, Waymon Price Koger (brother-in-law,) Gladys Kaye Quitugua, Pete Anthony Quitugua, Jr., Steven Joseph and Nicole Briggs and Robert Franklin Wagner; nieces and nephews, Barrington Quitugua Koger (also Godson,) Glenn, Yolanda Marie, Yolanda Miami and Lotti Vee Quitugua-Braaten, Lilianna, Nautica, Maelani and Kailie Briggs, and Robert Franklin Wagner, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Loretta (Kane) Granger-Medrano and family and Kathy (Kane) Cosenza and family; uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Familian Quitugua, Serra, Chaco, Treadwell, Charfauros, Cruz, Chargualaf.
A private ceremony was held on January 13, 2023 with only close family members present.
