Jane was one of my mentors during my social work internship at the ASYMCA. She taught me so much through her genuine, caring work with our military families. I will always remember Janey with gratitude, respect, and deep affection. Donna Hilt
I had the distinct honor of working alongside Jane when she worked with our young military families here in San Diego. As director of Military Parish Visitors (now Military Outreach Ministry), Jane and I spent many hours counseling, rescuing, loving and caring for thousands of young Navy & USMC families. She was a true professional and good friend. I regret I will be unable to attend her memorial.

Jane was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and person. She spent her entire life helping others, despite a very tough start to her own life. She really is a hero and I will miss her terribly.
