Jane E. Williams' Obituary
Jane Elizabeth Williams, 95, died in San Diego, CA. August 19, 2023. Jane was born in New York,N.Y. in 1927 to Joseph and Elizabeth Delaney. She had a ten year career working for TWA in New York, then met and married the love of her life, a career Navy man, Kenneth Donal Williams in 1956. They were soon stationed in San Diego, California where they settled and raised their four children: Jane-Ellen, Elizabeth (Bill), Evelyn and Kenneth.
Jane was very involved in her church including teaching sunday school, membership in the Young Ladies Institute, the Altar and Rosary Society, St. Vincent De Paul, and as a Eucharistic minister for Holy Family Church.
Jane was a sweet, caring soul, loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her four children, multiple grand and great-grandchildren and joins her beloved husband, Kenneth who preceded her in death, April 2nd, 2016.
A visitation with rosary will be held Monday, September 11th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Clairemont Mortuary, 4266 Mt. Abernathy Ave., San Diego, CA 92117.
Funeral mass to be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 1957 Coolidge St. San Diego, CA 92111, Tuesday, September 12th at 11:00 am, with interment following at 1:30 pm at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in Point Loma, CA.
