Jennie Au Hinshaw's Obituary
Jennie was born September 26, 1930 and passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2010 after a short hospital stay.Jennie’s father was See Chong Au and her mother was Kam Chee Yen, both of Hawaii.Jennie was the youngest of 8 children. She had 6 sisters and one brother. Jennie is survived by her brother George and sister Florence, both of Honolulu.In addition, Jennie is survived by 3 children. Jim Bostian (Penny) George Bostian and Clayton Hinshaw.Jennie has 3 grandchildren Tiffany, Ryan & Celeste and 3 great grandchildren Dustin, Dylan and Dani. Jennie’s youngest great granddaughter (Dani Jade) recently arrived from China and got to spend both Thanksgiving and Christmas with her great grandmother.The family held a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 23rd and Jennie’s ashes will be placed at Ft. Rosecran’s National Cemetery with her second husband, James Ivy. Jennie’s final resting place has a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean where she will get to see her grandson Ryan’s boat daily, as he passes by on his way to the fishing grounds.Memorial Gifts may be made to Love Without Boundaries (http://www.lovewithoutboundaries.com)
