Hi Jack, I am a friend and co-worker to you Dad. I'm very sorry for your loss. I wanted to share a few things with you about your Dad which might shed some light on his integrity and character. I remember a time when I had an emergency I needed help with. I called many people, but your Dad was the only one who responded and decided to drop what he was doing on a Sunday to help. It only took him a few min to drive over and fix the problem. I have never forgotten his generosity and kindness.I also remember the times that he brought you to my place a few times and I really enjoyed seeing the two of you work together on a project and him teaching and showing you how to assemble a complicated shelving system.I have always enjoyed our conversations, respected his work ethics and clearly saw that you were a priority in his life above all else. I met Jerry through work and immediately took a liking to him. Jerry was a very kind hearted person. I would always enjoy talking to him about our families and you could tell that he was a very proud father…always talking about his son. I will remember him for his kindness. I worked in the same industry as Jerry and we would often run into one another…Jerry was always super nice and had a very kind heart. I knew Jerry for the last 15 years. He and I worked together for the last several years. He was usually in a good mood and brought a ray of sunshine to everyone he met. He was very devoted to his mom, Betty, until she passed away this past July. The center of his universe, however, was his son, Jack. He really looked forward to spending time with him.
