Joseph P. Gilraine's Obituary
Joseph P. Gilraine, 36, died on Thursday, June 22 at the Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester following an accident at work. He was the son of Beverly A. (Dashner) Gilraine and the late Richard J. Gilraine. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1988 and received his Associate Degree from Massasoit Community College in Brockton. Mr. Gilraine was a resident of Chelmsford for 3 years after living in Stoughton for 20 years. He was a railroad worker at the Mass. Bay Commuter Rail for 9 years. In his free time he was an avid cyclist. In addition to his mother, Mr. Gilraine is survived by his daughter, Hannah M. Gilraine of NH, his brother, James R. Gilraine of VA and his former wife, Kim (Archiprete) of NH. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, June 27 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Joseph’s name may be made your favorite charity.
