Kimberly Quatrino's Obituary
Kimberly Quatrino (born Kimberly Ann Drass), age 47, passed away on Monday, October 21st, 2019 at her home in San Diego. She was born February 8, 1972 in Loretto, Pennsylvania to Marcia Wagner Woolman and T. Mark Drass Sr. She married Philip Quatrino on September 30, 2017 and leaves behind husband Phil and his two children, Madeline and Philip III, as well as her mother Marcia, brother Ted Drass, and sister Kay Cee Drass Jacobson who reside out of state. Her father Mark Drass predeceased her.
Kim was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but her heart was always in California. After completing a BS Degree in Nursing at the University of Pittsburgh, she immediately moved to San Diego. She worked in health care her entire adult life including positions in nursing, pharmaceutical and medical sales. She was an award winning sales rep and was loved by her customers and co-workers. She had a kind, loving and compassionate heart and will be remembered for her uncanny ability to know just what to say at the right time. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Talking with friends, time with family and she never tired from spending time at or near the ocean.
Kim had a life long battle with orthopedic problems brought on by a birth defect of a shallow hip socket. She fought a long battle but succumb to the persistent pain. Family, friends and others whose lives were touched are invited to the CLAIREMONT FUNERAL HOME, 4266 Mt Abernathy Avenue, San Diego, CA 92117. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 8, 2019 to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course just to be together.
