I used to work with Von (that's what we called him) at Mexcursions tour company in San Diego back in the 1970's. He was always ready with a joke and a smile! He was a lot of fun to be around. I remember when he and a friend of mine George Wilson got to star in the movie "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" He was just beaming from ear to ear. My name is Elizabeth Mitchell(Malkind back then).
