linda was a sweet, wonderful woman…a joy to be around. i've sat by her and meredith at several DAR meetings. i remember our september 2013 meeting when she was accompanied by her husband. he told about meeting a cute blonde at a dance during the vietnam war era. i will miss her lovely smile. hugs to the entire akers family.
