Ling Losh Losh, a mother to 3 daughters, 4 grandchildren,and 3 great-grandchildren passed away on July 16, 2021 in her daughter’s home in San Diego, California. She was surrounded by her loving family at her side. She was 76 years old.Ling was born July 10, 1945 in Vietnam and later moved to the country’s largest city Saigon right before her teen years at the age of 12.Nearly a decade later, at the age of 21 she met an American Soldier in 1966 during the Vietnam War. Two years later the couple married and she moved to the United States where she raised her 3 daughters.Ling would eventually settle in San Diego, California in the early 1970’s and call this home for the rest of her life.She worked in service industries for over 4 decades and retired in 2011. Ling enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching movies,and exercising at the gym. In recent years she had become very active using technology such as her smartphone and tablet, streaming online movies, and communicating with family in Vietnam.She will be remembered for unconditional love for her family and charismatic personality. Her kind heart and compassionate nature made even the newest strangers feel welcomed and like “family”. These are values she instilled into her own family over generations.Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her daughters Lisa, Michelle and Caroline; son-in-laws Matt, Bobby and Dan; her 3 grandsons Michael, Mark and Matthew; granddaughter Lynn; granddaughters in-law Diana and Rebecca; great grandkids, Julianna, Aria, Carter and Baby Caroline;and her favorite grand-dogs Lola and Scooter. We will all miss her dearly.
