Mabel Irene (Dillon) Greer
Born July 4, 1930 in Highland, Ohio
Died early December 25, 2020 in San Diego, California with family
Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Myrtle Dillon.
She had 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Husband Jack Greer Jr. Married July 18,1950, for 50 years before he died on September 16, 2000. Interned at Fort Rosecrans.
Survived by her children, Rebecca (Robert) Elder, Jacqueline (Richard) Tilley, and James Greer. 5 Grand Children, 9 Great Grand children, and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.
She was a kind and loving Wife, Mom and Grandmother.
Navy Wife for over 20 years. An LVN, Den Mother, Brownie Leader, and Room Monitor for all of us. She was very crafty.
She loved Bingo, visiting with her friends, cooking, baking, and gardening.
She loved and made all the holidays special. (Born on 4th of July, and passed on Christmas morning.)
She was a San Diego Zoo member for many years, always enjoyed going there.
She will be loved and remembered by many.
The family prefers that no flowers or gifts be sent. Your kind thoughts and words of encouragement are deeply appreciated.
Interment will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery at a later date
