It's been five months since my Grandma left us, but I close my eyes, and I still see her. I wish she was still here, but I know she's in a better place. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and support.

Lucy, I'm so glad I got to meet your Mom last summer. She was so caring and concerned about my Dad. He knew she loved him very much. You have done a great job here Cousin.LoveRosalee Eles
Lucy, what a wonderful tribute to Nellie. She honestly was an angel on earth, with a wonderful sense of humor. I am so blessed to have gotten to know her and spend time with her. I will be eternally grateful for that. Love, Ann
Lucy, here is the other picture I had wanted to load — turns out Mom wanted to also! This is from the reunion in Phoenix in 1977.
Lucy, I was so sorry to hear about your mother. I am so glad that to have known her, she was such a wonderful person. It has meant so much to me to talk to her on the phone over the last two years, especially a month ago when we talked about seeing each other in May. I will miss her. You're in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all and keep you safe.
Lucy you and I were previleged to have had Nelly as a mother and sister. God knew that she was the perfect match for us so he sent her to be with us all these years of her beautiful life. She was my editor-in-chief whenever I needed to know info about my family's history. I will always treasure and remember our long conversations about those gentle souls that graced our lives. Her legacy was pure unselfish love, simplicity, honesty, humbleness, service and a gentle spirit. May she rest in Peace. Uncle Jess

Lucy, I was truly sorry to hear about your mom. I will always remember Aunt Nellie and her sweet smile, her soft spoken voice and her gentle heart. She will indeed be missed by all who knew Aunt Nellie. You're in our prayers.
The pictures and video are a beautiful tribute to Aunt Nellie. She was a beautiful woman and I'm glad for the times I had to meet and visit with her. My prayers are with all of you in your time of grief — but I know heaven is happy with their new angel! I have shared a few photos I had of my dad Al with Aunt Nellie and her brothers from 2 of the reunions. Love, cousin Cheryl (Rivera) Punch
