Maria E Tellez- Giron was born on 7/15/1930 in Veracruz, Mexico where she and lived in Mexico City DF until 1959. She was the 2nd of 8 children. Her parents were Luis Braver and Amalia Tellez- Giron. She went to school in Mexico City and then got her associate degree at city college in child psychology and began a career as special education teacher. She retired in 2003. After retirement she was involved in traveling, going to the opera, spending time with grandchildren. She lived in Mexico City, Ventura, Texas and San Diego. She was married to Jose Tellez- Giron in April at Mexico City D.F. Surviving family members Patricia Torres, Elizabeth Maldonado, and Teresa Wilkinson, 5 grandchildren, sister Amalia, Marina, Carlos, special fiends Caretakers in her late years- Connie, Helen S., Leane. Some of her special activities consisted of going to House of Germany and Balboa Park. Some words to describe her would be social; vibrant; open and loving; organized and detail-oriented; caring and loving. She loved her family, country and friends. Her favorite hobbies and activities would be going to the opera, animal lover and educator. She enjoyed Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Javier Solis, Mexico Lindo.
