Brunnhoelzl, Mary ElizabethJune 5, 1921 – July 14, 2012Mary was a sweet lady who touched all with her gentle grace. She was a loving wife to Bill and a devoted mother to Billy, Peggy and Tommy. She adored her family, as they were her life.Mary was born June 5, 1921 in Glen Cove, NY to Lawrence and Elizabeth Wade. She married her loving Bill on June 1, 1946. In 1955, they moved across country to San Diego, where they enjoyed 66 wonderful years of marriage. Mary worked for the Navy Exchange, Acacia Life Insurance and H&R Block. She was a proud member of St. Columba Catholic Church for 57 years, and belonged to the Catholic Daughters, Ladies of Columbus, the Alter Society, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Mary is survived by her husband Bill, brother Jim, children Peggy (Chuck) and Tommy, grandchildren Mike (Janine), Billy, Andy (Karina), Julie (Martin), Laura (Jason) and Michael, and great grandchildren, Nikki, Michael, Conor, Claire, Emma, Sam, Aidan and Sarah.A viewing will be held at Clairemont Mortuary on July 22nd at 3:00pm followed by the Rosary at 4:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Columba Catholic Church on July 23rd at 11:00am with reception to follow.
