Mary D Lane's Obituary
Mary D. Lane was born on February 17, 1928, in Salisbury, Maryland to Robert and Jamanna Dorman. She was married to Charles Lane, Jr. on September 3, 1953, in Seakonk, Massachusetts. Ms. Lane had a passion for baseball, loved and enjoyed watching the San Diego, Padres, and was a season ticket holder. She was Supportive, Dedicated, Selfless, Strong-Willed, Educated, always honest and a natural Caretaker. When she retired, she opened an in-home daycare where she took care of children in the neighborhood, as well as her own grandchildren and she did it with a big heart. Mary Lane (AKA Ma, Gran) gained her wings on January 11, 2025. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, neighbors and anyone she made a lasting impression on. She leaves behind her children, Wayne and Helen Lane. Grandchildren, Alison Adams, Erika Lane, Philip Wright and Nathaniel Robinson. Great Grandchildren, Brijae Wright, Patricia Broeren, Jeff Taylor-Lane, Andrea and Philip Wright, Jr., Makaylah Lane-Adams & Jaylen Adams. Great-Great Grandchildren, Khelani Farmer, Joseph and Zack Robinson. We respectfully request that anyone that would like to donate flowers send those to Clairemont Mortuary for the Memorial Service, that will be held on March 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held @ National Cemetery Miramar for family members only (Private Service) at 12:30 p.m. We appreciate each and every one of you.
