Murdoch Stewart's Obituary
Murdoch Stewart of San Diego passed, Monday, September 22,2021 at the age of 86. After months of declining health, Murdoch, also known as Scotty, died peacefully in his home with his loving family by his side. Scotty was born in Glasgow, Scotland on April 8, 1935. At the age of 17, Scotty immigrated to Canada. In Canada he found work as an electrical assemblyman and worked his way up to plant superintendent. This is also where he started his family. Then in 1964 he moved to San Diego where he remained until his death. Scotty worked at Solar Turbines for 30 years as a test supervisor. Once retired, he enjoyed travelling with his beloved wife Yvonne, doing handyman work for his neighbors, sunbathing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his four children, 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren who all loved him very much. A viewing will be held on Monday, October 4 from 11-1 with the Memorial Service immediately following at Clairemont Mortuary 4266 Mount Abernathy Ave. San Diego Ca. 92117
