I LOVE YOU OSCAR ROMERO(TATA)….I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN IN HEAVEN………….LOVING YOU 4EVER…SHANNA
It's been over 50 years ago, but I remember the raspy voice, the sparkly eyes, the chuckle and the grin as he instructed me to properly assemble the pieces of the jet engine; he reminded me of the importance of getting it right the first time – the only time. His lasting friendhip stands out in my memory.
My Uncle Oscar was a wonderful man, a defender of our Country, a Hero in so many ways. I was always excited when we were told that my Aunt Ruth and my Uncle Oscar were coming over to visit, because they always treated our family so special. He always had a story or a joke to tell. Never once did I ever hear a bad report about Him, only sweet things from everyone who knew him. I know thereâ??s a big hole in the heart of the family and friends who loved him, because thereâ??s a big hole in my heart! I love you Aunt Ruth and Uncle Oscar, thank you for being so good to me and all my family. I will miss you, but only for a short season. There is nothing more satisfying to know then that of one of your family members trusted in Jesus for the salvation of their soul. My Uncle Oscar is now at rest in Christ. "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints" (Psalm 116:15). Although death is still the great enemy, those who have been redeemed and forgiven, through faith in Christ, no longer need to fear its â??sting,â? for â??the sting of death is sin,â? and â??while we were yet sinners, Christ died for usâ? (I Corinthians 15:56; Romans 5:8).Joe Hernandez
I am saddened by the news of the passing of such a wonderful man but I truly understand that he probably died of a broken heart. I remember how close he and your Mom were. My thoughts are with you, Richard, and your entire family. What a lovely tribute to his memory. May he find eternal peace.
I love you Uncle Oscar and God Bless all the Romero and Curtis family..Love Dale and Rebecca Weightman
