Phillip Dean Loflen's Obituary
Phillip Dean Loflen passed away at the age of 89. He was a resident of Lantern Crest Memory care in Santee CA. Phillip was the second son born to James Loflen and Lela Loflen in Mt Airy, North Carolina. Upon Graduation from High school at 17, he joined the U.S Navy. While stationed in San Diego, he met Dolores Barone and they married in 1953. They had 3 children Michael, Jeffrey and Michele. Phillip was predeceased by his loving wife Dolores after 68 years of marriage, and also by his brother James. Phillip is survived by his 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. They include son Michael Loflen (Diana) and grandchildren Jason (Alyssa), Matthew (Ruth), and great-grandson Henry Loflen. Also, son Jeffrey Loflen (Diane) and grandchildren Chad (Jessica), Bret (Kelly) and Chelsea Loflen Simkin (Vitaly) and great-grandchildren Claire Loflen, Shane Loflen, Hudson Simkin. Daughter Michele Loflen Halstead (Jimmy) and grandchildren John Cryderman (Alyssa) and Aaron Cryderman, and great-grandchildren Josephine Cryderman and Elliot Cryderman.
