Rich, I miss you and your laugh. I think about you all the time. I miss you a lot. You had the best attitude. – G
The one thing about Rich that I think I will miss most is his wonderful laugh…it was hearty and happy and you could hear it across the cubicle wall…it made the day so much brighter. Rich was a very unassuming soul who had much to give and helped me out several times w/work related items this past year. I truly appreciated his kindness and hard work ethic. My deepest sympathy to the friends and family who knew and loved him…he will b missed.Terri Bratcher, NAVSUP GLS
A fine man, A great Teammate and a dedicated professional.
I worked with Richard D Harvey, at FISC Haz-Mat, Richard was my go to guy to, if I had a question, and he was all way a pleasure to talk with. He had that smile that brightened my day, I miss working with him and Charles Roiz. To his Family you have my deepest sympathy, Richard was a friend to so many . RIP Richard. Your friend and co worker Ronald Miller. Retired.
I did not talk to Rich often and mostly knew him from phone conversations when I needed some assistance while he was in the Liaison Office. He always provide expert advise and a smile or two. Thanks for both Rich.
Sent a gift in memory of Richard D Harvey
I will always remember Sir Rich (how I always greet him) and am truly saddened by his passing. Sir Rich was our admin person while working in the HAZMAT Department at FISC-SD in early 1993 until he was "pressed-into service" to another department while at the same command re-named as FLC-SD. We always maintained a very personable repore with each other and shared many laughs together. My most cherished moments of conversation with Sir Rich was during lunch time when he would order Pizza from a local eatery (more like a greasy spoon) and offer some to co-workers. The Pizza always had a greasy appearance with melted cheese and juicy pepperoni with sausage. I always asked him if he had ordered an extra ladle of grease for his Pizza and with a smile and a gleam in his eye he would say Yeah or You Bet and start laughing. I guess he relished that Pizza!Later on, Rich moved on to a new position at GLS and we would always greet each other if seen. Rich was always professional in the various assignments that he completed and I know that many GLS folks that he worked with will also truly miss him.My sincere condolences to his Family on his passing.Charles Roiz Jr.
Rich -sure could bring a chuckle to a person indeed. His sense of humor and laughter sure could brighten up your work day. Rich gave selfishly to make sure that you had the right information to carry out your work responsibilities. The man was a wealth of knowledge and experience. That type of talent will surely be missed by his co-workers.Rich- I bet you'll be golfing in heaven now, at scenic golf courses that you always dream of playing.I'll surely miss your presence at work. Rest in peace Rich.Sheri Adkins
