I want to celebrate the Bob we are missing. The man who learned things, understood things: complex and simple. Studied the universe and taught himself so he could express to us all the things important to know. Here’s what I know: Bob-less is hard. Gone too soon, too sudden for those of us left behind. I’m hoping time allows us our memories, shared over over lifetimes to fill us with the comfort we enjoyed together. Good times, bad times: guitar in the living room. Things I say because he said them, I’ll continue to say & smile. Brings me comfort. Thank you Bob for Häagen-Dazs daze chocolate chocolate chip, it is the best Icecream, all the conversations and the laughter, the kindness and my personal favorite “there she is” when he opened the door. Robert was the kindest person at a time in my life I needed kindness most. His witty sense of humor and lighthearted nature provided so much comfort during troubled times. I will never forget him and will continue to hold those memories close to my heart. I’m so happy my best friend had a father like him. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your loved one.
