Dear RE,
Not a day goes by that I don't remember with perfect clarity, that horrific moment the earth cracked open and engulfed you. You were awarded justice in the eyes of the law, but you deserved more. My mind could be released from this purgatorial state if the man who destroyed you, and damaged my faith in humanity showed any sign of repentance. Just the smallest recognition of the profundity of his actions. Sorry, a word so difficult to say with sincerity, can wield such power.
