Ron and I worked together at FEDCO and became good friends. For some reason he came to mind recently and so it was sad to learn that he has passed. He was a quiet person with a good sense of humor. I will always remember his smile. Rest in Peace Ron. You are missed.

I'd like to express my deepest sorrow for the Okuma family. I worked with Ron all his years with SDG&E and was one of the kindest and reserved men I knew, that did more work then asked of. In our shop we all liked telling each other about our vacations and would always bring a smile to his face. Cousin Ronnie as we referred to him, was a few years older than I growing up in San Diego, CA. His family used to visit on occasions, and Ronnie and I would watch the original Mickey Mouse Club together. Oh how Ronnie hated when my Mom made us march and sing to "Who's The Leader of the Club That's Made for You and Me". But I recall Ron's smile and dimples could light up the room.
