In Loving Memory of Theresa Louise Dillon
September 19, 1942 – August 1, 2025
"Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories."
It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Theresa Louise Dillon, who departed this life peacefully on August 1, 2025, in San Diego, California, at the age of 82.
Born in San Bernardino, California, Theresa was the beloved daughter of John J. Procsal and Geraldine W. Procsal, and sister to John Procsal and Robert Procsal. She grew up in San Diego and was proud to be part of the first graduating class of Clairemont High School in 1960.
Theresa embodied the spirit of perseverance and optimism throughout her life. In December of 1963, she married John J. Gilmore. Though their time together was tragically short, as she lost him in 1966, his memory remained in her heart. Despite the heartbreak, she carried on with grace and strength.
In 1970, she married William A. Dillon, the love of her life and her devoted partner for more than five decades. Together, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2020, a milestone that reflected their enduring love, commitment, and shared joy.
Theresa was a devoted wife, a loving mother to John, Stephen, and Paul Dillon, and a proud stepmother to Debbie Haveard. She was a cherished grandmother to Kaira, Miranda, Jason, Kyle Dillon, Travis Kee, and Sara Haveard and a joyful great-grandmother to Tyson and Cayden Kee. Her greatest joy was her family, and she filled their lives with love, strength, and quiet grace.
Even in the face of illness, Theresa remained resilient, and full of dignity. Her warmth touched everyone who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved.
She is survived by her husband William, her brothers John and Robert, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends.
Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the wisdom she shared, and the unwavering loyalty she bestowed. She will be remembered always for her resilience, and deep devotion to those she held dear.
