Theresa Edmonds' Obituary
Theresa Edmonds, age 82, passed away peacefully. Born on August 23, 1942, in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the second of four children to Victor and Rose Madden. Theresa spent her early years in Glasgow, where she completed her education and began her career as an office manager. At the age of 23, she moved to the United States, eventually settling in San Diego, California.
In November 1964, Theresa married Ronald Edmonds in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They shared a beautiful life together, blessed with four children: Diane Koss, Steven Edmonds, Daniel Edmonds and Kevin Matthew Edmonds. Theresa was also a proud grandmother to Megan Koss, Andrew Koss, Kevin Edmonds, and Ryan Koss.
Theresa retired in 2014 after a dedicated 30-year career. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling, walking by the bay, and attending church. She was known for her happy, funny, beautiful, and feisty spirit. Theresa had a deep love for shopping, listening to The Carpenters and the Bee Gees, and watching mysteries on PBS.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Edmonds; her children, Diane, Steven, and Daniel; her sister, Margaret Madden; her grandchildren, Megan, Andrew, Kevin, and Ryan; and her special friend, Margaret Silva.
Theresa was a devout Catholic and an active member of her church community. Her warmth, humor, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
