Sonny, I am so sorry I was out of town when you came to visit El Paso and New Mexico. Cindy told me you had asked about me, and I sincerely appreciate you doing so. I also greatly appreciate your service to us and our Country, and your shared Military Brotherhood with me.It deeply saddens me to know I will not get to see you here again. We are so sad for our loss of Uncle Sonny, as he was known to us here in Albuquerque.We are honored to have known Uncle Sonny; he holds a warm place in our hearts and memories – including those of our 2 sons.He made us laugh, he made us proud, and we shall surely miss him.

Dearest Uncle Sonny, how great you looked when you came to visit on your trip here to El Paso/Deming to visit family. I was so glad I had a chance to catch up with you at the El Paso airport with my dad, and little did I know it would be the last time. Thank you Uncle Sonny for all your love to all the family always. My dad is extremely sadden by this loss and is ever grateful you and he had such a nice ride to Las Cruces, NM. Our deepest thoughts, blessings and prayers to Aunt Virginia, cousins Linda, Tommy and Eddie and all your family. Know that myself, my daughter Sarina and my husband Robert feel your loss deeply.
