She leaves behind a legacy filled with happy memories, laughter, and love. Known for her beauty, kindness, hospitality and generosity, Batoul had a passion for holidays and hosting gatherings that brought joy to all who knew her.
Batoul met Ken while he was overseas in the military, working at the American Consulate in Baghdad, Iraq. Following their marriage, they moved to the United States, first to Cherry Point, North Carolina, then to Philadelphia, and finally settling in San Diego. Throughout their 66 years of marriage, they were rarely apart, sharing interests in gardening, travel, casino outings, and family gatherings.
Family and friends will deeply miss her. Batoul's sense of humor, radiant smile, infectious laughter, and generous spirit were gifts she freely shared with everyone around her.
Rest in peace, Batoul. May you always watch over us, and we look forward to being reunited one day.
A private funeral service will be held for the immediate family on September 30, 2024.
